CET stands for Comité Européen de la Tréfilerie (European Committee for Wire Drawing) and is the European Association looking after the needs of European Wiredrawers. Our current membership includes associations and wire drawers from Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden, the UK, and Turkey, and covers the majority of European wire drawers.

We have four scheduled meetings a year; two economic meetings, where we discuss all aspects of the market for drawn wires, and two technical meetings where we discuss all items to do with the technical aspects of wire drawing such as ISO Norms, manufacturing processes, and safety concerns.

In addition, members can enjoy access to detailed statistics related to the wire drawing industry and CET is also at the forefront of liaising with the EU Commission on the topic of anti-dumping legislation and safeguards.
